| Founder/Past Director: Mia Hendricks
“You have to surround yourself with people who share your dream, see your vision and who are willing to work as hard as you are to achieve that! Without people like that, you will stay stagnant and that dream will always be just out of reach. Surround yourself with dreamers, visionaries and hard workers.” – Mia Hendricks, 2010 My board of directors are those people. I am very lucky to have such a great group supporting my dream and mission to serve the children in my community. Welcome to my dream and now let’s meet my awesome team! |

CJ Legare was born in Tacoma, WA but spent her childhood traveling the globe as an Air Force Brat. After studying theatre in college, she became the first plus-size model signed to Elite Model management’s Miami division and spent her early twenties working as an actress and model in South Florida and Los Angeles. During that time she honed her skills as a make-up artist, stylist, photographer and personal coach. At 24 she decided to embark on a new career traveling the county as a mobile marketing tour manager. After almost four years on the road, she and her husband put down roots in Kyle, Texas. In 2007 she started Power Pinc, a boutique consulting firm specializing in life styling. She writes Functional Girl, a life & style advice column, for AAH magazine. She is addicted to 2% milk and her favorite color is sparkle. In 2009 she became a “big” with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization and was privileged to join the board of directors for Hope & Love 4 Kids.
